The CIRPHISCONTROL project has been 65% co-financed by the European Union to through the Interreg VI-A Spain-France-Andorra Program (POCTEFA 2021-2027). The objective of POCTEFA is to strengthen the economic and social integration of the Spain-France-Andorra border area.
General Objective
Implementation of a cross-border cooperation network for the development of biological control strategies for the Mythimna unipuncta (cirphis in French) pests that affect the POCTEFA territory and impact the environment and local economy.
Specific Objectives
- Characterization of the problems and opportunities in the cross-border territory
- Experimental demonstrations to test biological solutions for combating Mythimna unipuncta
- Cross-border dissemination action and strategy for the long-term transfer and adoption of biological control solutions
