Climate change

Those responsible for making future decisions in regard to agro-livestock and forestry production must stay a step ahead of possible alterations (rising temperatures, changing rainfall levels, etc.). This will enable us to know which is the most viable production as well as the risks associated to these new conditions.

From NEIKER we will work to predict the scenarios of the future and to identify and keep a close watch on the potential risks of climate change. Said scenarios, equipped with adequate spatial resolution, will enable us to forecast and assess impacts, weaknesses and possible channels of adaptation.
