General objective:
Improve farmer awareness and engagement regarding the transition to a precision fertilization model based on the use of agricultural sustainability tools for nutrients, specifically SATIVUM, as a basis for optimizing fertilizer use and complying with EU legislation on preventing water, soil, and air pollution.
Specific Objectives:
- Improve the efficiency of agricultural inputs without negatively impacting yield.
- Apply precision agriculture techniques in fertilization (variable rate), with the possibility of transferring them to other practices such as irrigation, application of phytosanitary products, or sowing rates.
- Improve the availability and extract maximum added value from data related to their farms.
- Optimize the use of agricultural machinery adapted for PA.
- Attract young people to a more technological, sustainable, and sophisticated agricultural model.
Outcomes:
It will allow the implementation of a large-scale OFE (On Farm Experimentation) on-farm trial scheme with statistical rigor and the participation and involvement of the sector. agricultural.
