Vertical farming: stable and sustainable food supply

This pilot project proposes the design and implementation of an innovative vegetable production system: vertical cultivation. This system will allow a stable and sustainable supply of leafy vegetables throughout the year. To achieve this objective, a consortium has been created with the participation of producers (Joshua’s farm), a company specialising in the design and integration of new technologies in the agri-food sector (Engineering and Biotechnology), a distribution company (Eroski) and a technology centre (NEIKER).
