Description: organisational and technological modelling of the agri-environmental management of mountain pastures based on participation in the pilot area on the Bizkaian side of the Gorbeia Massif. It relates to the development of a support system for decision making in the management of mountain pastures, with a proposal for managing scenarios according to the ecological potentials and needs of users, thus contributing to the revitalisation of the rural environment.

Objectives:

The general aim is to develop a support system for decision making in pasture management. Demonstrative actions were implemented that will generate specific knowledge that will allow the taking of decisions that respond to the problems detected. To this end, a monitoring plan was programmed as the basis for adaptive management based on training technicians and livestock farmers in the protocols of the different indicators to be used to assess sustainability, as well as their basic interpretation, thus contributing to involvement, training, awareness raising and motivation in the conservation of grazing habitats.
