General Objective
In this project, NEIKER, ARTANDI, and GARAIA evaluate the suitability of modern Batavia lettuce varieties for the production of ready-to-eat salads.
Specific Objectives
- Following the identification of commercial Batavia lettuce varieties suitable for minimally processed (IV range) products and exhibiting some resistance to the main pests, their agronomic performance under different protected cultivation systems and their suitability for the production of minimally processed salads are evaluated.
