- Project start: 01/12/2022
- Project end: 30/11/2024
- Principal investigator: Pilar Merino
- Funder: MCIN
- Budget: 498,970.80 (31.4% financed)
- Partners: UPV, CSIC Granada, IVIA, IRIAF, CITA
General objetive:
To use data based on sensors installed on farms to improve decision-making by farmers and technicians. This requires multidisciplinary work that involves combining advanced mathematical treatments with knowledge of animal production in various areas such as genetics, nutrition, environment.
Specific objetives:
- Facilitate the transition of livestock farmers towards a digitalised livestock sector in which data management plays a role in the ecological transition.
- Promote the resilience and adaptation of livestock production systems to climate change scenarios.
