March 24th, 2026

10:00 – 14:30
(followed by a networking lunch)

NEIKER Arcaute (Caballerizas Building)
NEIKER invites sector stakeholders to participate in this strategic workshop within the framework of the European project TEDY (Agroecological Transition in the European Dairy Cattle Livestock System). This initiative, developed in collaboration with 11 international partners, works to support the transformation of dairy farming systems in line with EU sustainability goals.
The project aims to explore and promote practical agroecological approaches that enhance the environmental, economic, and social sustainability of the dairy sector. TEDY’s vision is to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future for European dairy farming, where farmers, researchers, and communities work together to develop solutions that respect both nature and livelihoods.
This meeting marks the official launch of the Living Lab in the Basque Country, conceived as an open collaboration ecosystem to identify shared challenges and co-design strategic actions tailored to our local reality. During the session, results from recent surveys conducted with sector actors will be presented, followed by a collective problem-mapping exercise to prioritize the innovation pathways needed for livestock management. Given the importance of exchanging experiences, a networking lunch will be hosted for all attendees at the end of the workshop.
- AIMED TO: Professionals, farmers, and stakeholders with technical experience and knowledge in the dairy cattle sector.
