On February 24th, 25th, and 26th, NEIKER will host a series of technical workshops focused on the digitalization of extensive grazing and the implementation of GPS device networks in communal pastures, specifically within the Gorbeia SAC (Special Area of Conservation).
The objective of these meetings is to analyze the impact of new technologies on the Basque agri-livestock sector and to present the latest technological innovations designed to improve profitability.
Additionally, the sessions in Bizkaia and Araba will serve as a collection point for the GPS devices used during the 2025-2026 grazing season for necessary maintenance.
- AIMED AT: All livestock farmers (whether participating in the GPS Network or not), technicians and managers of communal mountain pastures and the Gorbeia SAC, and the general public.
