The progressive degradation of agricultural soils is an important environmental and social problem that compromises food security for a growing world population. Consequently, it becomes necessary transition towards a more environmentally friendly agriculture by, for example, the incorporation of agricultural techniques that reconcile the productivity of crops and protection of soil resources in the context of sustainability of agroecosystems .
