Patricia Gallejones Bringas

TRAYECTORIA

Patricia Gallejones has a PhD in Biology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU), a Master's degree in Environmental Agrobiology from the same University and she has undertaken a scientific stay at one of the most important agricultural research centres in the United Kingdom (Rothamsted Research). Patricia has experience in the elaboration of greenhouse gas inventories for the Agriculture sector and in the study of nitrogen and carbon cycles and she combines field measurements and modelling to analyse the impacts of climate change, land use and management on changes in soil carbon stocks. Previously, part of her research has also focused on the estimation of greenhouse gases and their side-effects on ecosystem services using different methodologies and at different scales, from field sampling to mathematical modelling (in agricultural and livestock systems). She also has experience in sustainability indicators, carbon footprint and environmental assessment through Life Cycle Analysis.
