FACILITIES
For the conservation and multiplication of the entries that are kept in the NEIKER Germplasm Bank, there are facilities such as cold rooms with controlled temperature and humidity, as well as culture chambers for micropropagation of vegetatively reproduced species, such as potatoes.
In this case, laboratories equipped with laminar flow chambers are also used for the picking of potato seedlings that will later multiply by means of ‘in vitro’ culture for their conservation.
